Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week (KLFW) and leading e-commerce platform, Lazada Malaysia announced the launch of the first LazMall Multi-Label Fashion e-store exclusively on Lazada, through its consignee Online Brand – O.C.M. (One Common Mission) in time for the fasting month and Raya festivities around the corner.
The store will feature renowned and up-and-coming local designer brands such as A-Jane, Rizman Ruzaini, Syomirizwa Gupta, Behati, Againts Lab, Kit Woo and more, and aims to support the local fashion industry by promoting Malaysian made designs to more than 1 in 3 Malaysians who shop on Lazada every month.
O.C.M. represents the fashion trend and taste of Millennials and Gen-Y who are fashion forward and social media centric on what is cool in the World of High Fashion but opt for affordable and original alternatives that provides them with high quality Lifestyle and Fashion Items that are relatable to their way of life. The store will also feature the latest Raya collections for a limited time only exclusively on Lazada from local designers inclusive of ready-to-wear, handbags, jewelry and accessories amongst others. More local designers and brands will launch within the OCM LazMall flagship Fashion store in the coming weeks and seasons.
“We are excited to offer our local fashion brands the services and technology to build an inspiring, elevated customer experience that shoppers have come to enjoy on LazMall. This partnership is a start of many great things to come in the Fashion industry between Lazada and The Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week. We look forward to working together to help spur the growth of the local fashion industry and bring a wide array of the best local Malaysian fashion assortment for our shoppers to enjoy, especially during the upcoming Ramadan and Raya festivities.” said Diana Boo, Chief Marketing Officer, Lazada Malaysia.
“O.C.M. brings the ideology of this amazing experience to Malaysian where we envision an online fashion accessibility where all Malaysian – even in the most remote areas of Malaysia – are included in the discovery of cool and affordable fashion pieces from the lesser known to well-known Malaysian Design Brands and Labels.” said Andrew Tan, Founder of Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week.
“Lazada has a relentless focus on improving the customer experience through constant innovation, utilizing technology. We admire the customer-centric focus of LazMall and look forward to telling our brand’s story in compelling and engaging ways to even more customers through our flagship LazMall O.C.M Fashion store experience,” he continued.
As Lazada’s branded destination, LazMall is the biggest virtual shopping mall in the region with the widest assortments from over 18,000 brands, which promises 5 times return for Malaysian shoppers for purchases found to be non-authentic, on top of 15 days hassle-free return policy, guaranteeing 100% authentic quality products with specially curated attractive promotions and discounts.
O.C.M. was inspired by the historical but currently non-operational Colette in Paris, the French Store was well known as a high fashion, streetwear and accessory retailer. More than a store, it was seen as a cultural mecca and an educational experience. Known for stocking anything and everything with an air of cool, the shop was heralded as a place for discovery.
